Dinah Massie 713-881-3244 US 59 Southwest Freeway southbound lanes closed Emergency repairs on two lanes expected to last until afternoon rush period Houston TranStar officials report that two main lanes of US 59 Southwest Freeway at Bellaire Blvd. are closed while crews repair an expansion joint between the lanes. The work is expected to last until 5 p.m., well into the heavy traffic period. Afternoon travelers are urged to take an alternate route or delay their departure time. -30- |
