Media Contact: Dinah Massie 713.881.3244 I-610 North Loop Eastbound at I-45 North Blocked Incident expected to last until 10:30 a.m. Houston TranStar officials are notifying area travelers that the eastbound lanes of I-610 North Loop at I-45 North are blocked by fuel spilled from an 18-wheeler. All traffic on I-610 eastbound is being diverted at I-45. Cleanup is expected to last until at least 10:30 a.m., so travelers are advised to consider taking an alternate route or delaying their departure times. Houston TranStar is an alliance of four government agencies that coordinate and enhance transportation and emergency management services, responding to incidents and emergencies in Harris County and beyond. Sharing their resources to serve area residents are: the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Harris County, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) and the City of Houston. -30- |
