Phone: 713-455-0062 / 281-782-0329 Washburn Tunnel Traffic Advisory (November 2, 2009) Washburn Tunnel officials advise the public traveling in or around the south entrance of the Washburn Tunnel area to expect traffic delays starting Tuesday, November 3 - Friday, November 6. Weather permitting: Pasadena Refining Systems, Inc. (PRSI) will have a construction crew near the south entrance of the Washburn Tunnel Precinct 2 asphalt crew will be re-asphalting Red Bluff Road. N. Shaver road heading northbound will be affected by PRSI construction from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Precinct 2 Asphalt crew will start re-asphalting Red Bluff Road from HWY 225 to the South Circle leading into the Washburn Tunnel. No other roads are affected and the tunnel will remain open while PRSI and Precinct 2 complete their construction work. - 30 - |
