Women Professionals in Government Hosts City of Houston Mayoral Forum Sept. 3, 2009 Houston, Texas (Sept. 1, 2009) Join the Women Professional’s in Government as they host the City of Houston Mayoral Forum on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at the Houston Club, 811 Rusk, Houston, TX 77002 at 12pm at their networking luncheon. Mayoral candidates who are scheduled to appear include: Peter Brown, Gene Locke, Roy Morales, and Annise Parker. Nancy Sims, Senior VP at Pierpoint Communications, who publishes http://mayoralmusings.com online, will be the moderator for the forum. WPG was organized 28 years ago to provide knowledge, skills, and support for women working in the public sector and all related fields career growth. The organization expanded its mission to also provide scholarships to young women pursuing degrees in public service and to provide grants to non-profits serving women and children within the Greater Houston area.
